Our client was spending 8 to 12 hours per week printing and entering (by hand) the invoices and POs produced by their ERP into their customer's awkward EDI-to-SAP platform.
We worked with multiple vendors and created the "glue" code to properly format and transfer invoice and PO data. We took the 12 hour error prone manual process and reduced it to less than 30 minutes per week.

Not only are there fewer errors and less staff time spent, they get paid sooner! The solution saves over $20,000 per year in staff time.

This project wasn't even on our client's radar. They didn't feel there was a practical solution. Their software could not talk directly to the customer EDI platform and the customer had no other options. However, because our relationship with our client and knowledge gained working on other projects together, we identified the opportunity to take over a complicated process, interfaced two disparate systems, and created a super simple automated process.

Now things run smoother for our client and their customer is getting the benefits of a true system-to-system EDI solution.
We wasted a lot of time re-entering data into the EDI system. With the new process, everything is automatic and we just need to handle an occasional exception.
